INTRODUCTION

Lion Rathi qualified as Chartered Accountant in the year 1966 and since then practised under the name of Rathi&Malani till the year 1995. At present he is Chairman of TA Hydraulics Pvt Ltd an ISO 9001 Company Designing & manufacturing hydraulic equipment.

He joined Lions Club of Hyderabad North in 1971 and became President in the year 1977- 78. He held the positions of Zone Chairman, Deputy District Governor, Cabinet Treasurer, Cabinet Secretary, District Chairman and Vice District Governor with Distinction. He was unanimously elected District Governor for the year 1994-95. He bagged almost all the awards instituted by Lions Clubs International and the most prestigious one was the International President's AWARD.

The year 1994-95 is remembered the year of excellent administration and good service activities, specially in the field of eye donation propagation work. More than 60 pairs of eyes were received during the year thereby giving vision to 120 persons. Lion Rathi is involved in several businesses and industries. He is keen sportsman. He is Chairman of Denali Foods Pvt. Ltd. Manufacturing Chocolates and Confectionery.

He is married to Lion lady Pushpa and they are blessed with two daughters and a son.
