INTRODUCTION
Lion V. Hanumantha Rao, a well-qualified, dedicated, passionate and committed Lion with a long standing existence in Lion ism. Yet, modest and affable.Born in Anantapur of Andhra Pradesh where, he completed his schooling and graduation. He did his Post Graduation in Geology from Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati. Later he completed LL.B. from Gulbarga University at Raichur. He is An Advocate & Tax consultant. He embraced lionism from Lions Club of Raichur in 1984. Served as Club Secretary for two terms and became the President in 1989-90. He worked in different capacities, Zone Chairman, Zone Membership Advisor and District Cabinet Secretary during 1995-96 with distinction. He trained M.E.R.L., Lions Quest and at OLLI. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow.
A simple man, an untiring worker, an adept soldier, a work-worshipper, trust worthy, righteous and a genuine member of all the organizations he is associated with. He received several awards including Best Club Secretary in Regional, 100% President's Excellence award from Lions International, Best District Cabinet Secretary award at Multiple District and Committed Lion award;
His circulars as DCS, DC for 'Village/Slum Adoption 'and 'Hearing & Speech Action' were well received.His 'Lions Scrap Vision 2000-01' was awarded a cash prize. As DC he assisted DG Lion R. Sunil Kumar in drafting and finalizing the Constitution of 316 A. His slogan "VALUE HUMAN RELATIONS' won the best slogan award at the All India Schooling at Ahmadabad.
Served as a Joint Secretary of Multiple 320 - 2016- 17. As Co-Chairperson, assisted PDG Lion A.Ranga Rao and finalized the present Constitution and By-laws of District320A. * He is Trustee Treasurer of Sri BandlamambaSevaSamithi, and instrumental in constructing a temple complex at SringeriSharadamba Temple at Raichur.
A Trustee and Executive Member of Lions Education Trust, Raichur. As a District Governor, he was successful in getting a LCIF grant of $1 lakh for expansion of their Lions School.
Served as Secretary of BharathVikasParishad and currently as its President of Raichur Branch. A member of Raichur District Tax Bar Association; Raichur Bar Association; Karnataka State Tax Practitioners Association, Raichur and Karnataka RajyaVignanaParishad, Bangalore.Life Member of Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Sri AdiShankaraSevaSamithi, Raichur
