INTRODUCTION

Lion Dr. Nandan Singh joined Lionism in 1973 and became President in 1976-77, Zone Chairman 1977-1978, Dist. Chairman 1980 to 1992. Awarded Best President, Best Zone Chairman. Best District awards, District Governor 2006 -2007. 100 % District Governor, outstanding service award. Awarded FICA, FIGS, MASM(USA) MASM (Australia) FIMZA, FNYAS (USA), served as professor 1962 to 1995 and retired as Principal Osmania, Kurnool Medical Colleges. Published several research Papers in India &abroard, Served several Committees on Aids, STD in WHO & Govt. of India, Ministry of Health & Published several books.

He served as President of Indian Medical Associations, Indian Association of Pathological and Microbiologist, Indian Association of MedicaI Microbiologist, Hyderabad Services Association, Master Lodge Morland, President Osmania Alumni Association.

Represented University 1956 to 1959 & won All India Championship in Volleyball as captain. Represented India USSR 1960. Represented India 1962 Asian Games Jakarta , Selected to represent India's 1st Asian veterans tennis championship at Jakarta 1987. He was awarded "Dr C L Jhala, IAMM, Best Teacher" Awards in 1992. "Rajiv Gandhi Sadhbhavana" Award in 1999 and "Hindu Muslim Unity" Award in 1988

Happily married to Lion Lady Dr. VijayaNandan Singh, a noted Gynaecologist and running the most Modern Diagnostic Centre since 46 years. Blessed with only son Ashwin Singh who is a post graduate in Health management.
