INTRODUCTION
"Hard work and consistency with a human face will always pay dividends", is the apt saying to describe Lion Radha Krishna Surampally a life member in Lions Clubs International, from a 31 year old Nagarkurnool Lions Club. In 30 roaring years he strengthened his club with hard work and passion for service, which led him to be unanimously elected to the most sought after position of the district.
Lion Radha Krishna Surampally was born in 1968 in a family with educational background in Achampet, pursued his school, college education in Achampet town and completed his degreein Mathematics from Sri Uma Maheswara Degree College, Kondanagula, Achampet. During his college life, he was an active student leader.
After completing Graduation, he shifted to Nagarkurnool in the year 1990 and commenced business. His sincerity and dedication led him to reach to unexpected heights. He became a devotee of Bhagavan Sri SathyaSai Baba and rendered services to Sri SathyaSaiSevaOrganisation. In that organisation, he got associated to Lion Kapilavai Ashok Babu, Charter Secretary of Nagarkurnool Lions Club, who introduced him to the Lionism. He served the Club as Secretary in 1995-96 and the Club President in 2000-01. 2004-05 he became Zone Chair Person and in the year 2007-08 he served as the Region Chairperson. He completed DLLI and RLLI successfully. He also served as Zone PRO, Region Co-ordinator, Zone Membership Advisor, Region Secretary, District Chairman, District Joint Cabinet Treasurer, District Joint Cabinet Secretary and as District PRO in 2018-19, in the year 2019-20 served in the capacity of Second Vice District Governor and 2020-21 as First Vice District Governor. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones fellow. In theyear 1995-96, he was awarded Excellent Secretary in Region and Best in District. In 2000-01 he was awarded Best President in Region, District and Multiple. He got Senior Master Key award from Lions Clubs International for introducing more than 25 members to the club.
He has been awarded the International Presidential Medal in the year 2018-19. He received Five International President's Appreciation Certificates and three International President's pins. During his Region Chairmanship, he expanded by starting five new clubs with the co-operation of the then Governor, Lion G. Chennakishen Reddy and made his region the Largest Region in the District and got Excellent Region Chairman award in theDistrict and Best in the Multiple. He is a life member of Indian Red Cross Society, serving as the District Treasurer, Nagarkurnool District branch. He received the Highest Blood Donor award from Telangana State Governor for donating blood more than 60 times. Hereceived the gold medal for working sincerely during the formation of the new district branch and for raising funds and services rendered. He received the Best Social Worker award from combined Mahabubnagar District Collector in United Andhra Pradesh and the Best Social Worker award from Nagarkurnool District Collector, Telangana State.
His belief in lions organization career can be well explained in a singlephrase: "Sincerity makes even the very least person to be of more value than the most talented hypocrite." He played a keyrole in extending new club named, Hayathnagar Centennial during the centennial year. And also played a key role and donated Rs. 15 lakhs in purchasing a new building for LIONS CLUB OF NAGARKURNOOL. He is the founder of SR Foundation (SR: Social Responsibility). Through this foundation, he is helping the rural children by giving furniture, drinking water tanks, sound systems and educational aids to the government schools. The financial assistance to this foundation is totally contributed by his family members.

- First District Governor in 320A to cross 100 MJFs
- Highest Membership Growth in Multiple for the month of October
- The first Governor to receive Star Governor and Super Star Governor Award for the first time in Multiple
- Cabinet Installation held in the ambience of a 5 Star Hotel
- Water Tanks provided to Clubs who paid International and District Dues
- Received 6 Grants from International
- Conducted Official Visits to 65 Clubs, one of the highest in the District
- Introduced a scheme of no Gifts during Official Visits to Club and motivated Clubs to contribute that amount to LCIF
- Distributed Diabetic Kit to all the Clubs
- For the first time Awareness Flyers for Diabetes and Cancer Awareness provided to each and every Club with the names of its PSTs from the District Office
- The year saw DG's Lions Family convert to one of the very few all MJF's Family as all the members contributed towards MJF
- A Suit and one Suit Case were gifted to every Region Chairperson during the year
- Ended the year with a record breaking 133 MJFs
- Supported the Libraries of Government Schools through Clubs by providing Chairs, Book Shelf and Table along with Posters on Lions
- Body Freezers Activity taken up in the District for first time to benefit citizens of rural areas
- Each and every Club has taken up a Service activities during the Lionistic year 2021-22.
- District Convention organised at a 5 Star Venue and timing strictly adhered all through including conducting the Elections, a remarkable feat in itself.
He is Past President of AVOPA, a dedicated member of Vasavi club, Arya VysyaSangam and participates in town, district and state Activities. He is the member of Sharada Educational Society, Nagarkurnool and is a Trust member of several temples in and around Nagarkurnool. Lion Radha Krishna Surampally is happily married to Lion Nagarani and blessed with two daughters Lion Dr. SaiVeena, MDS married to Sri RakeshPola a Senior Software Engineer and Lion SaiVineetha, a Software Engineer married to Sri Rajesh Konda a Senior Software Engineer whose parents are active Lions from District 320G
