INTRODUCTION

charter member of the Lions club of Hyderabad Deccan since 1986 Past District Governor Dr. M. Rajagopal Reddy has held many offices within the association including club president, zone chairman, region chairman, CSF coordinator and district cabinet member continuously till 1999 and served the positions with distinction. His commitment and contribution to the association made him to win in the election as Vice District Governor in the year 1999 and as the district Governor in the year 2000-01 for undivided District324 C2.

During his period of governorship when twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad were affected with floods he motivated the clubs to take up immediate relief work to the areas by providing relief material to the tune of Rs.20 lakhs which includes an assistance from LCIF emergency grant of 10000 $ which brought him laurels and good recognition for the association in the community.

He served as PDG FORUM Chairman of Multiple District 320 for the year 2016-17. He is the Chairman of Lions Club of Hyderabad Deccan Charitable Trust. He is the trustee of the Lions Heart Eye foundation, Lions Bhavan and Multiple District 320 Leadership Institute. He contributed 5000 $ to Lions Clubs International and became second century ambassador. He is recipient of many International Awards.

He is a medical graduate from Osmania University and underwent training in Hospital Administration from Vellore. He along with his wife Dr.Prameela started a nursing home in the year 1978 and today it is a reputed multi specialty hospital in Hyderabad. He is the managing director of Marthala Hospitals Pvt. Ltd.. He is the President of BodhiTree Educational Society.

He travelled extensively round the world with his wife and has passion for travelling. Apart from being a good orator he is a good singer too.

He invoIved himself with social organizations like the Indian doctors for peace and development, Indian Red Cross Society, RBVR Reddy hostel committee, ISKCON, South India Cultural Association and World Telugu Federation.

He is married to Lion Dr.Prameelamjf. They are blessed with 2 sons Lion Dr.Pradeep Reddy, Joint Replacement Surgeon, married to Lion Dr. Sravanthi, Gynaecologist, and Lion Pratap Reddy, software Engineer married to Chandana, Software engineer and three grand children Pranav, Vibhav and Pranada.
