INTRODUCTION

Lion Ramesh Chandra Pandit born in Tandur is from a business community doing business of Tandur Stones. Member of a very senior Club Lions Club of Tandur which was chartered in the year 1976.

Born on 24th November 1953 at Tandur Lion Ramesh Chandra Pandit did his schooling at Tandur and graduation in commerce from Govt. City College Hyderabad. Joining the business of Tandur Stones concentrated in developing the business and today Tandur Stones are well known all over India for the last four decades.

In the year 1993 he joined as a member of Lions Club of Tandur and went on to take the responsibility with different assignments including Club Treasurer to Club Secretary to Club President in 1998.

With a very successful innings at the Club level got an entry into the District as Zone Chairperson in the year 1999 and not looking back became the next year Region Chairperson and then to District Secretary, Joint District Cabinet Treasurer, Joint District Cabinet Secretary and later unanimously elected as the Second Vice District Governor.

Steps in the success ladder made him to climb the position of a District Governor in the year 2019 and he is elected as Multiple Council Treasurer for 2020-2021. Looking back every year he has won the most coveted awards in every role he played. Best at District and Multiple he received the prestigious awards that include as Best President, Best Zone Chairperson, Best Region Chairperson, Best District Chairperson and five times International President's Appreciation Certificate.

Lion Ramesh Chandra Pandit is a qualified Certified Guiding Lion and did the course thrice. Attended Lions Leadership Institute programs at the District level DLLI and RLLI at Viskhapatnam in the year 2016.

As an individual at Tandur Lion Ramesh Chandra Pandit is a keen sportsman participated in local tournaments and in social service activities. He is a well known person both in cultural and social activities.
