Lion Sunil Kumar, Recipient of EIGHT International President's Medals and 100% District Governor Medallion is an Ingenious writer whose Handbook "Meeting Specialist" on Parliamentary Procedures released to Lions District Governors of the World at 2013 Hamburg Convention. He is a popular Trainer & Public Speaker, addressed events and conducted about 1,400 training programs during the last 30 years in 17 countries. A Qualified International Trainer- Su nil Kumar is India"s first Lions Certified Instructor from LCI. He is Asia"s Second International Training Fellow from JCI University, USA. He Authored Books on Personal Effectiveness - "Broadband your Benchmarks", "Best & Beyond"; "Success. No matter what"; "Managing for Excellence" "Unlocking Uncertainties", Parliamentary Procedures etc.
Sunil Kumar is a Graduate of Commerce with Honours and a Graduate of LAW. Joined Lionism as a LEO during 1971 and an active and serving lion for the 48th year. He was exalted as District Governor 2008-2009 and became one of the successful District Governor to enroll 71 MJF's/PMJF's, with joining 1008 New Members with Net Growth of 818 (Over 50% growth - second highest in world on percentage). During his tenure as District Governor extended 10 New Lions Clubs, organized over 25 well attended District Events. 35 Club Presidents received 100% medallion along with most of his Region and Zone Chairpersons.
Headed as Global Chairman of the most prestigious District Governor Elect Seminar during 2017 at Chicago with about 1,480 District Governors and their spouses in attendance and held in 13 languages. He was Vice Chairman of the District Governor Elect Seminar at Fukuoka, Japan during 2016. A Group Leader of the District Governor Elect Seminar held during 2018 at LAS VEGAS & during 2019 at CHICAGO & MILAN.
As International Director 2012-2014 - Served on Board Committees for Long Range Planning; Leadership & Audit. Faculty for New International Directors of LCI at the Orientation Program at Chicago during 2017. He Served as Constitutional Area Leader for GLT Program (Global Leadership Team) for 2017-2019.
Resourceful Editor for Lions Magazine 2016-2018 - Instrumental in bringing about a massive change in the Magazine's outlook and content.
Lion Sunil Kumar was Chairman of organizing committee of ISAAME FORUM, 2009 - He earned Hyderabad the distinction of organizing the first International Conference of Lions with 2000 delegates representing 55 countries. Organizing Committee Secretary of ISAAME FORUM 2015, at Ahmadabad, which had the largest delegation ever - over 3,500 delegates. He Trained VDGs & District Governors for several years at the All India & Multiple since 1994. He was Faculty at LCI lnstitutes-LCIP (twice) at Chicago & Kathmandu; Faculty Development Program (twice); Senior Lions Leadership Institute (twice) at Dubai and Sri Lanka; Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (twice) and over TEN Regional Leadership Institutes.
He Presented special sessions at ISAAME FORUMS - Dubai - 201 O; Lebanon - 2011; Bengaluru - 2012; Kathmandu - 2013; Ahmadabad - 2015; Colombo - 2016; Kolkata - 2017; and Dubai - 2018. Conducted about 50 programs to various Districts & Multiple Districts of India for District Governors and other leaders.
To his Triumph Rewarded the prestigious Ambassador of Goodwill Award by LCI, the highest award presented to a Lion Member. Also rewarded as the Second Century Ambassador to acknowledge his contribution.
Sunil Kumar is Specialized Trainer for Train-the-Trainer programs- Has an Alumni of over 550 Trainers whom he trained during last 20 years. He served as the National President of Indian Jaycees during 1989. World Vice President of the Jaycees International for 1991 and World Executive Vice President of Jaycees International during 1992 (the second rank in the World).
He heads a group of companies involved with Marketing and Travel & Tourism. He is the President of the most prominent Travel Agents Association of India for the Sixth Year, since 2014. Global President of the United Federation of Travel Agents Association, a global federation of Travel Agents since 2015. Visited 84 countries and over 300 cities beyond India.
A happy couple, Sunil Kumar and Kavitha are blessed with two sons - Arjun &Akshay - Both post graduates in Engineering & Management from USA.
